What other differences were there between F-12 and F-14 tractors? I had been told that the F-12 tractors only used two bolts to secure the air cleaner assembly to the upper radiator tank and that F-14 tractors used three bolts, but my F-14 only uses two bolts. The F-14 tractors had a breather that attached to the valve cover and to the side of the engine block. One thing that I do know is that the F-12 tractors had a breather pipe that threaded into the front of the engine block, and then angled downward at the front of the engine. I was thinking about putting all of the internal engine parts from the F-14 engine into the F-12 block. My F-12 has what appears to be a good block, but the internal parts of the engine are not useable.

The F-14 is much more complete than the F-12, however the F-14 has a large patch on the side of the block behind the fuel pump. One of my basket case tractors is an F-12, while the other is an F-14. I am trying to piece together an F-12 or F-14 Farmall by using a few basket case tractors, yet I still am in need of several parts.
